Federico started his musical journey joining the Academy of the “Teatro alla Scala” in Milan as a ballet dancer at the age of 11. In the following years, he worked as a soloist at the Landestheater Coburg, as well as on different international stages including Milan, Rome, Hamburg, Bamberg, Vienna, St. Petersburg and Toronto.

A keen interest on conducting brought him to study in Milan both at the Conservatory and at the Italian Conducting Academy led by Gilberto Serembe. He participated in masterclasses with Nicolás Pasquet, Martin Sieghart and Jorma Panula. Federico also took part in the 4th Fiskars Summer Festival and Academy, in Finland, mentored by Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Esa-Pekka Salonen, James Gaffigan, Dalia Stasevska and Magnus Lindberg.
